One Way Links - The Real Importance
Ever since SEO started, the concept of link building came into existence. Link building is generally used to increase traffic towards your website, rank high on search engines, and get good page rank.
Basically, the most used link building techniques are one way and two-way (reciprocal). Both names suggest what they are. One way links are those links in which your website links are placed in other websites with out exchanging links and in two- way both websites exchange there links.
It's really a question of debate regarding which links are better, but the most recommended will be one way. Now the question arises WHY?
Just understand with a simple example, say you have a website "A" and there is other website "B". Let's first talk about Page Rank(PR) of Google. Google provide PR on the basis of inbound links (your link on the other website "B") and outbound links (links on your website redirecting to the website"). Now it's simple that if inbound links are greater you will receive more traffic and if outbound links are greater the other website car insurance cover get more traffic. So if you have more inbound links you will get more PR, but if you have more outbound links it will decrease your PR.
Secondly say suppose if I have a website with PR0 and I want a link of PR3, then why would a webmaster of this website will exchange link if he is getting PR0 links So we have to go with one way links to get higher PR links.
So now this is how one way is important as compare to reciprocal. It is definitely a little bit of a tough task to get one way link and thus it makes one way more costly than reciprocal links.
