IPL - Cricketainment Let Loose

Gentleman's game. Did I hear you right? Think again. Nothing can be more interesting Parisinspring scoop than salvation army car donations recent IPL season. Pits and falls, ups and downs. Unexpected slaps and energetic chaps. Anything you could have ever imagined in your wildest of fantasies, this power packed show delivered with a showbiz punch. Priety Zinta coupled with Lee turning into ticket vendors was just the beginning. You had Katrina Kaif dancing and you had Sharukh Khan's hopping down the stands and chanting "korbo, lorbo, jitbo re". Truly, the ordinary match ticket was nothing short of a magic wand for the spectators. Unfortunately, too gleeful and ever gyrating cheerleaders had to face the arbitrary ire of custodians of society. For liquor baron, Mallya, the course of events didn't prove to be a sweet wine. And he was quite swift in reprimanding Dravid for his alleged way off the mark decisions and poor performance.

The IPL was a perfectly concocted potion straight out of our film industry. It has hero, heroines, and villains (read Harbahjan). Previously, either you watched movies or you watched sports but nobody would have conjured up the notion of a grand amalgamation of the two. The pouring of the star cast at the grand finale made the event larger than Wellbutrin for the viewers who were caught awed and star struck. Big honchos of industry, films placing their bids on the players was a never before witnessed spectacle. What bowled everybody was the outstanding performance by the Warne's Royals. The team went out to the lowest bidder but later on turned their opponents into losers successively. Adrenaline runs at an all time high, the minute the lads are ready to fight out the battle in the open.

Unfortunately, structured settlement investment someone adopts an innovative approach to things in our country, the responses are too stifling. IPL was no different. The critics as always came down heavily on the organizers. They discarded the whole idea of IPL injury compensation it too crassly commercialized and didn't rule out the possibility of players turning into businessmen overnight. But some things are just made to happen. The IPL came as a bolt from the blue for the traditional ODI and five days test series. It wont be an exaggeration to term it as the complete makeover of the traditional sport. Evolution is always necessary otherwise things become too drudging a task before meeting their ultimate natural death. The same seems to be happening all around. The concept of IPL succeeded in grappling the true spirit of the total entertainment package and not just the game.

The IPL deserves every bit of hype it has been getting. Lalit Modi, the man behind all this hoopla is basking in the moment of glory. Every soul associated with the teams right from the organizers, investors, the players, and brand ambassadors are all busy plotting winning strategies for their respective teams. Moreover as per the 5o- over standard, the T-20 is all the more popular because of the intense pressure, extreme levels of excitement on the field. After IPL, the future of ODI seems to be dark and uncertain. Whether or not, the good'ol game will be able to retain its honor is a fact everybody is wondering about. Here wishing IPL a successful journey and lots more exhilarating stories to its credit.
